Kindness is Everlasting Virtue

Kindness means putting other people’s feelings before your own. Kindness is being generous, friendly, or warm-hearted. It means having a kind and gentle nature. Kindness involves doing good rather than harm. It often means putting other people’s feelings before your own.

There are different random acts of kindness that I have practiced:

· Helping Amal Fellow to Find Internship

Since I have been a part of amal academy, I have tried to help everyone as I could. I receive daily emails from our university CSO (Career Service Office) regarding internships and jobs in all sectors of Pakistan mostly HR and Marketing. So I decided to help other fellows in finding internships and jobs. So I spread a message in our whatsapp group that if anyone needs help regarding internship can contact me. So after one week after spreading message, I received a message from a fellow. She said that she wants to do internship in HR department and se is unable to find it. So she asked help from me. I recommended her some companies that are giving internship opportunities and assure that I will share whenever I receive an HR internship email from university. At last she got internship in HR department of a reputable company.

· Helping a stranger biker who run out of petrol

I have never helped a stranger on the road whenever anyone ask for a lift or ask for petrol. As in our country, no one believes in strangers when they asked for help. And also my parents always told me to never trust in strangers. That’s why I never gave lift to any stranger if he is a young man. But to aged people I always try to help them. So when I was coming from amal academy, I saw person that was dragging his motor bike and he has no petrol in his bike. I stopped and asked him if I can help him. He agreed and I helped him to go towards the petrol pump. I was very happy and satisfied because it was my first time to help a stranger.

· Returning school bag of a kid who has lost it on the road

When I was coming back to home from work, I saw a school bag of a kid that was hanged with the handle of school van. All of sudden the handle broke and the bag fell down on the road. The driver had no idea about the bag and was unaware about the situation and he kept on driving. I stopped and picked the bag. It was very heavy. I opened the bag and found the school diary of the kid and fortunately his father’s contact number was written on the first page. I called him immediately and asked to take the bag. After an hour, he came and I returned the bag to him. He thanked me and I was very satisfied with my effort.

· Showing gratitude towards the security guard

Security guards are the people who risk their lives to provide security to us. So I always try to greet them whenever it is possible. When I return from fajr prayer, I saw the guard standing on his duty and sacrificing his sleep for us and I always try to shake hands with him with a smile. And also with the security guards that are standing outside the banks and stores in the heat, I always try to compliment them.
