What To Say When You Meet Someone For The First Time At A Social Event

You ever see someone and want to say something to them, but you just don’t know what to say?

You try to come up with something clever to say to them, then start to think,

I don’t know about you, but I can’t count on both hands of how many times of this happening.

I remember all throughout high school back out in upstate NY, all I wanted to do was fit in and make some friends at school.

I never had my core group of true friends who were always there for me. Getting attention from girls was not even a thought. That meant I was walking around nervous all the time — not just in school, but in life.

I’d even avoid people because I didn’t know what to say.

That made me feel literally trapped inside my own self.

Then one time we were at McDonald’s with my buddies and we bumped into girls from our school. There were 4 of them, and 3 of me and my buddies. Yet I was still left alone in the corner.

I literally felt like Invisible Man.

Then, I started seeing something weird…

I saw this really popular kid at my school make these fart jokes and all the girls would burst out into laughter. When I saw that everything changed.

That’s when I realized you can literally say anything.

So I decided to be bold and make those random jokes like him so I could be more popular.

But there was still a problem…

I still couldn’t do it as if something was holding me back.

In the end, I went out and practiced this every day in my day-to-day life. I started random conversations with people.

Which meant I could now make friends and have more fun in life.

In the end I was able to lose my virginity, and every city I ever went to I was able to get into these different social cliques and build my own.

When all is said and done I was able to learn that 1 is always better than 0.

And in the end, all of this means I could create more fun experiences in life and memories for the people around me.
