How To Write And Publish Articles Every Day

This Is How I Do It

When I first joined Medium, I only expected to write articles once a week or maybe even once a month. In the beginning, my writing was sporadic.

But then I started scrolling around Medium and quickly learned through advice and other people posting that the way to get more views and make money was to consistently post every day.

So I made that my goal and was surprised to find that I could actually achieve it most of the time.

This is how I do it.

I’m disabled. I’m still avoiding going out most of the time or seeing people I care about because of Covid.

I have a lot of health problems. I have no other job than this.

I sit at home a lot and scroll the internet too much.

My husband is the primary breadwinner in our family. My disabilities prevent me from having a traditional job, so I am only able to make money writing online.

This isn’t the only place I write, but it is my focus.

I say all of this because I want to start out by telling everyone to stop being so hard on yourself.

A lot of you have jobs and kids. I don’t have either of those things. I have chronic illnesses that take up a lot of my time and make it harder for me to accomplish things, but I still have more time than some people do to write.

If you can write every day, then do it, but if you can’t, stop comparing yourself to other people.

We are all at different stages in life. We all have advantages and disadvantages.

It doesn’t help anything to compare yourself or give yourself unrealistic goals.

In fact, doing so can make you less productive. If you get overwhelmed, it can become impossible to write.

So, first things first, stop comparing yourself to other people.

You will only be able to someday write articles every day if you stop comparing yourself to others.
