Collaborate CIC builds senior team to support growing practice

We are thrilled to announce some exciting developments in the Collaborate team, with proven collaborative leaders joining us to take our work forward through 2017/18 and beyond.

Mark said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Collaborate. Its mission to help public services and communities work together to tackle complex social challenges will enable me to make a contribution that can draw up upon my place and system leadership experiences as a former head-teacher and local government chief executive — whilst undoubtedly broadening my horizons and developing my understanding of how to enable sustainable change that benefits citizens, communities and those organisations focused on enhancing public good.”

Sam said: “I am delighted to be joining Collaborate as a senior associate. The focus, work and values of the organisation around wider population health, bridging health and local government, have always impressed me and I look forward to working more closely with the team.”

Henry said: “These are exciting times for Collaborate, and a marker of the work we are doing that such recognised leaders want to join the team and be a part of it. There is now consensus on the need for a much more collaborative and citizen-focused model of services to the public. Both Mark and Sam bring the skills to help us close the gap between potential and practice, and will bring considerable experience, purpose and integrity to the team so that we can support our clients and partners in what is an increasingly uncertain landscape.”

Our autumn programme of work continues to grow, with exciting new projects on: collaboration readiness in the Scottish care market; place-based change in four London boroughs, two counties and several places in Greater Manchester and the North East; the post-Brexit challenge for civil society; supporting collaboration in mental health and wellbeing; and year two of the Ignite leadership programme delivered in association with SOLACE and the LGA.

From Henry, Anna and the Collaborate team
